To help you get to know me a little I provided a brief biography below. Dona Nobis Pacem Dr. David Boers In
the past 30 years, David Boers has taught at every level from 5th
grade to graduate school. During this time he has taught in college-bound,
general, and at-risk programs that have given him the experience with
which to write the articles and books he has published and to be active
as a consultant. Experience
as a middle school/high school principal, coach, school board member,
chair of an
undergraduate teacher
preparation program, director of a graduate program for teacher
development, author, national speaker,
consultant, and parent have
added to the breadth and depth of knowledge Dr. Boers brings to his
dedication to better school, home, and community environments. His
present position as consultant and Professor of
Graduate Education at Marian College of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin allows
him ongoing opportunity to seek excellence in partnership with K12
schools, districts, families, and communities. In
addition to many articles in journals and newsletters, Dr. Boers has
published four books: Happy
Classrooms, Making the Difference: Journal Writing for At-Risk Youth,
Wisconsin History through Integrated Student Creations, and Wisconsin
History through Integrated Student Creations, Volume
